Create a table like this and enter the conditions for solving. After the first set of conditions, this is how the table will look. The ones in bold with a strikethrough indicate that an Employee cannot belong to that Department or Sport
We know that no more than three people work in a department and that the only people in Personnel are A & F. Hence all those above marked as not belonging to Administration must belong to Marketing. Ie. E, G, H. Since marketing has its maximum of three and Personnel has only two, the remaining two B & C must belong to Administration
For the next set, you can have the letters representing the sports and strike the ones that do not hold.
i. Since the one who likes Volleyball works in Personnel, this has to be F as A likes TT. So volleyball can be taken off from the rest of the Employees.
ii. Since Volleyball is taken out, the only options for D are B, LT and BB but it clearly states None from Administration like B or LT. Hence D plays BB
iii. C & D like Hockey and Basketball. This means the only other employee in Administration likes Football according to condition. Hence B likes Football.
iv. This leaves G with only Lawn Tennis
v. Between Employees H & E, it says H does not like cricket, hence E likes Cricket and H likes Badminton
The worksheet for above will look like this.
The final table will thus look like
Hence, the correct option is (C).

Employees in Administration Department:
- B works in Administration and likes football.
- C does not work in Administration as C likes hockey.
- D works in Administration and does not like football or cricket.

Analysis:
- From the given information, we know that D works in Administration and does not like football or cricket. So, option C, which includes B, C, and D, is the correct group of employees working in the Administration department.
- Option A (E, G, H) is incorrect because E and H do not work in the same department as D, and G does not work in Administration.
- Option B (A, F) is incorrect because F works in Personnel with only A.
- Option D (B, G, D) is incorrect because C likes hockey and does not work in Marketing, so C cannot be in the Administration department.
Therefore, the correct group of employees who work in the Administration department is BC D.
