According to the given information,
Disha goes to work for 24 days.
∵ Number of days Rahul goes to work is 25% less than the number of days worked by Disha.
⇒ 24 × (¾) = 18
∴ Rahul works for 18 days.
∵ Ratio of number of days worked by Rahul and Abhishek is 3 : 2 respectively.
Let Abhishek works for x days.
18 : x = 3 : 2
⇒ x = 12
∴ Abhishek works for 12 days.
∵ Number of days spent by Abhishek at work is 25% less than the number of days worked by Priya.
Let Priya works for x days.
⇒ 12 : x = 3 : 4
⇒ x = 16
∴ Priya works for 16 days.
∵ Presence of Priya at work is 80% of total days of work by Nirma.
Let Nirma works for x days.
⇒ 16 : x = 4 : 5
⇒ x = 20
∴ Nirma works for 20 days.
∵ Respective ratio of the number of days worked by Abhishek, Varun and Ramya is 3 : 7 : 2 respectively
⇒ Abhishek : Varun : Ramya = 3 : 7 : 2
⇒ 12 : Varun : Ramya = 3 : 7 : 2
∴ Varun and Ramya works for 28 and 8 days respectively.
∵ Number of days worked by Viru to is 75% more than the number of days worked by Ramya.
Let Viru works for x days.
⇒ x : 8 = 7 : 4
⇒ x = 14
∴ Viru works for 14 days.
So, the following table can be created
Average number of days worked by boys together = 72/4 = 18
Average number of days worked by girls together = 68/4 = 17
∴ Required ratio = 18 : 17
Hence, the correct option is (A).
