Directions: Ramesh has some amount with him in the form of Rs1000 not...
Let the amount with Ramesh be x
Amount distributed among his friends = x/3
Amount given to Geeta = 3 (x - x/3)/ 4 = x/2
Amount left with Ramesh = (x - x/2 - x/3) = x/6 = 7500
Or, x = 45000
Let the amount with Peeyush, Qamar, Rita, Shubham and Teena be p, q, r, s, t respectively
Given p + q + r + s + t = 45000/3 = 15000 (i)
And p = t + r (ii)
Also t = q +r (iii)
And s = p + r (iv)
(ii) + (iii) + (iv)
The above arithmetic operation will give s = 3r + q (v)
From (i) and (v) r can take only a value = 1000(as notes are multiples of 1000)
Form (ii), (iii), and (iv) Shubham received the maximum amount that is 5000
So q = s - 3r = 5000 - 3(1000) = 2000
And t = q + r = 2000 + 1000 = 3000
And p = t + r = 3000 + 1000 = 4000
If Peeyush gives 1000 to Qamar then p = q = t = 3000

Directions: Ramesh has some amount with him in the form of Rs1000 not...
Solution:

Let's assume the amount Ramesh has with him is 'x' in the form of Rs1000 notes.

Distribution among Friends:
Ramesh distributed one-third of the amount among his 5 friends. So, each friend received x/3 amount.

Amount received by Peeyush:
According to the given condition, the amount received by Peeyush is equal to the sum of the amounts received by Teena and Rita. Let's assume the amount received by Teena is 't' and the amount received by Rita is 'r'. Therefore, we have the equation:

x/3 = t + r ...(1)

Amount received by Teena:
According to the given condition, the amount received by Teena is equal to the sum of the amounts received by Qamar and Rita. Let's assume the amount received by Qamar is 'q'. Therefore, we have the equation:

t = q + r ...(2)

Amount received by Shubham:
According to the given condition, the amount received by Shubham is equal to the sum of the amounts received by Peeyush and Rita. Therefore, we have the equation:

x/3 = x/3 + r ...(3)

Simplifying equation (3), we get:
x/3 - x/3 = r
0 = r

So, the amount received by Rita is 0, which means Rita didn't receive any amount.

Amount received by Peeyush and Teena:
Using the values of r = 0 and equation (2), we can find the amount received by Teena:
t = q + 0
t = q

Using the values of r = 0 and equation (1), we can find the amount received by Peeyush:
x/3 = t + 0
x/3 = t

So, the amount received by Peeyush and Teena is the same.

Remaining Amount:
After distributing the amount among his friends, Ramesh is left with Rs7500. So, we can write the equation:

x - (x/3 * 5) = 7500

Simplifying the equation, we get:
2x/3 = 7500

x = 7500 * 3/2
x = 11250

So, the amount Ramesh had initially is Rs11250.

Final Distribution:
Now, let's find the amount received by each friend using the value of x = 11250.

Amount received by each friend = x/3 = 11250/3 = 3750

Therefore, each friend received Rs3750.

Peeyush gives Rs1000 to Qamar:
If Peeyush gives Rs1000 to Qamar, then the new amount received by Peeyush = 3750 - 1000 = Rs2750.

Number of Persons with the Same Amount:
So, the number of persons who have the same amount is 3 - Peeyush, Teena, and Qamar. Therefore, the correct answer is option (d) 3.
