Direction: Read the following information carefully and answer the qu...
Jayanti can complete the piece of work in 12 days.
Shivam takes 25% more time than Jayanti.
So, the number of days taken by Shivam =12×(125/100)=15 days
The ratio of time taken by Shivam and Varun is 3 ∶ 4
So, the number of days taken by Varun =15×(4/3)=20 days
Varun takes 100% more time than Bhumica.
So, the number of days taken by Bhumika is 20×(1/2)=10 days
Bhumica is 50% more efficient than Karishma. so she takes less time
S the number of days taken by Karishma is 10×(3/2)=15 days
According to the question ratio of time taken by Varun, Vinayak and Sheetal are 5 ∶ 4 ∶ 2.
So, the time taken by Vinayak and Sheetal is 16 days and 8 days respectively.
Anuj takes 50% more time than Sheetal.
Finally, the time taken by Anuj is 8×(3/2)=12 days .
Let the number of days required be x.
Part of the work done by Bhumica in 1 day is 1/10 (Efficiency).
Part of the work done by Jayanti in 1 day is 1/12 (Efficiency).
Part of the work done by Sheetal in 1 day is 1/8 (Efficiency).
Part of the work done by Karishma in 1 day is 1/15 (Efficiency).
According to the question, all of them are working simultaneously.
∴ The required Number of days is 8/3.
Hence, the correct option is (C).
