Direction: Each question below is followed by two statements I and II...
Statement I
Aniket's investment = Rs. 5050
Bhanu's investment =(120/100)×5050 = Rs. 6060
Profit = Investment × Time
⇒ Aniket's profit = Rs. 5050 × 8
Bhanu's profit = Rs. 6060 × 10
Ratio of their profit shares = 5050 × 8 : 6060 × 10
⇒ Ratio of their profit shares = 2 : 3
Total profit = Rs. 5050/5= Rs. 1010
Profit share of Aniket = Rs. (2/5)×1010
⇒ Profit share of Aniket = Rs. 404
Statement II:
The ratio of their total investment time is 1 : 4.
We cannot find profit of Aniket form here.
So, statement II is not sufficient to answer the question.
∴ Statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question but, statement II alone is not sufficient.
Hence, the correct option is (A).
