Probability of drawing a diamond suit or a King:

To find the probability of drawing a card that is either a diamond suit or a King from a standard deck of 52 cards, we need to consider the total number of favorable outcomes and the total number of possible outcomes.

Total Number of Favorable Outcomes:
- There are 4 King cards in a deck, one for each suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades).
- There are 13 diamond cards in a deck, one for each rank (Ace, 2, 3, ..., 10, Jack, Queen, King).
- However, the King of Diamonds is counted in both categories. So, we subtract 1 from the count of diamond cards.

Total number of favorable outcomes = 4 (King cards) + 13 (diamond cards) - 1 (King of Diamonds)

Total number of favorable outcomes = 16

Total Number of Possible Outcomes:
- There are 52 cards in a standard deck.

Total number of possible outcomes = 52

Probability Calculation:
Probability = (Number of favorable outcomes) / (Number of possible outcomes)

Probability = 16 / 52

Probability = 4 / 13

Therefore, the probability that a card drawn from a pack of 52 cards will be of a diamond suit or a King is 4/13.
