P and Q started a business. Their investments were in the ratio of 8 ...
Investment ratio of P and Q is = 8 : 7
Investment ratio of P and R is = 9 : 10
So, the investment ratio of Q : P : R is = (7 × 9) : (8 × 9) : (8 × 10)
= 63 : 72 : 80
Now, the profit sharing ratio of Q : P : R is,
= (63 × 12) : (72 × 12) : (80 × 9)
= 84 : 96 : 80
= 21 : 24 : 20
So, the total share of P and Q in the profit is,
= (21 + 24)/(21 + 24 + 20) × 22,555
= 45/65 × 22,555
= Rs. 15,165
Hence, the required answer is = Rs. 15,615.
