Study the following data carefully and answer the questions:
Bar graph given below shows the two possibilities of population density (per km2) of five states A, B, C, D, and E in 2020. Out of two possibilities only one is true and valid.
Table given below shows the area of those five states (in km2). Out of total population of any state, 75% is male population and remaining is female population.
Note:
1. Male population of each state is more than 18000 while difference between male and female population of state C is not a perfect square.
2. Population = Population Density (per km2) * Area (in km2)
Quantity I: Value of ‘N’ if ‘N’ is one-tenth of the difference between female population of states B and C.
Quantity II: Value of ‘M’ if female population of state D is M% of male population of either state A or state D.
  • a)
    Quantity I = Quantity II or relation cannot be determined.
  • b)
    Quantity I > Quantity II
  • c)
    Quantity I < quantity="" />
  • d)
    Quantity I ≥ Quantity II
  • e)
    Quantity I ≤ Quantity II
Correct answer is option 'A'. Can you explain this answer?

Study the following data carefully and answer the questions:Bar graph...
Since, male population of each state is more than 18000. Hence, case 1 for states A, B, D, and E becomes invalid. Only case 2 is valid for those states.
Female population of state C in case 1 = 25600 – 19200 = 6400
Difference between male and female population of state C in case 1 = 19200 – 6400 = 12800
Female population of state C in case 2 = 28800 – 21600 = 7200
Difference between male and female population of state C in case 2 = 21600 – 7200 = 14400
Since, difference between male and female population of state C is not a perfect square.
Hence, case 2 becomes invalid for state C.
Now,
Answer: A
Quantity I:
N = (6750-6400)/10
N = 350/10
N = 35
Quantity II:
Case 1:
M = 9000/24000×100
M = 37.5
Case 2:
M = 9000/27000×100
M = 331/3
Hence, relation between Quantity I and Quantity II cannot be determined.
