Direction: The line graph provides the data of electricity consumptio...
Electricity cost of House C = Rs 387 × 25 = Rs. 9675
Total expense of house C = Electricity cost + Rent cost + Internet cost + Food cost + Miscellaneous cost
= 9675 + 25000 + 8000 + 13000 + 11500 = Rs 67175
If the overall expense remains same for the next month, then
Total cost of house C = Rs. 67175
67175 = Electricity cost + Rent cost + Internet cost + Food cost + Miscellaneous cost
67175 = 10500 + 25000 + 8000 + 13000 + x
67175 = 56500 + x
x = Rs. 10675
∴ Miscellaneous cost must be reduced by = 11500 – 10675 = Rs. 825
