AgNO3(aq) + 2NaCl(aq) ----> AgCl2(s) + Na2NO3(aq) Complete ionic equation: Ag+(aq) + NO3(2-)(aq) + 2Na+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq) ------> AgCl2(s) + 2Na+(aq) + NO3(2-)(aq) Net ionic equation:Ag+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq) -----> AgCl2(s) The NO3(2-) and Na+ ions are spectator ions and the no. of moles do not change. The solution volume is doubled, so the concentration of each is halved. So, concentration of NO3 ions( which are spectators in reaction) after mixing = 0.1 x V / 2V =0.05 M
