We suppose four triangle making square of side underroot of 2.L then we will have to calculate the moment of inertia of any diagonal so then we will get 2ML^2/3 but the moment of inertia of trinagle is one forth part of this square so we will get ML^2/6 this is the actually the right answer i think your book has some error
