You asked who was better?My answer is everyone have their own way, both are rights.I am very sad that some people compare Bhagat Singh with modern terrorist activities. If throwing a unharmfull bomb at empty place is done for surrendering should it be called violence? If British courts gave long term imprisonment and execution orders also to some innocent people than it is law and order for you? Is it right according to Gandhian theory? If some Hindu soldiers of British Indian army refuse to cross the sea as per their beliefs or if they do not convert to christian than their public hanging is right?I want to put some lines from the book INDIA’S STRUGGLE FOR INDEPENDENCE by BIPIN CHANDRA page no. 288, “The non-violent movement was met by relentless repression…. Police indulged in naked terror and committed innumerable atrocities. At Ras, a village in Gujarat, the non-tax paying peasants were freely stripped naked, publicly whipped and given electric shocks. ” If you believe alone Gandhi gave us freedom, than it is wrong, mass movement was his weapon, and if you say it was all because Gandhi was leader than you have to also believe that that countless murders done by British to stop the civil disobedience movements and other Satyagrahs is also because of Gandhi. No war is won without shedding blood.I don’t want to say much, I want to just put some lines said by Gandhi and Bhagat,Written on 2 February 1931, he (Bhagat Singh) declared, “Apparently, I have acted like a terrorist. But I am not a terrorist……… Let me announce with all the strength at my command that I am not a terrorist and I never was, except perhaps in the beginning of my revolutionary career. And I am convinced that we cannot gain anything through those methods. ”In a famous article in his weekly journal YOUNG INDIA, he (Gandhi) wrote in 1920 that “Non-violence is the law of our species, as violence is the law of brute, ” but that “where there is a only choice between cowardice and violence, I would advice violence….. I would rather have India resort to arms in order to defend her honour than that she should, in a cowardly manner, become or remain a helpless witness to her own dishonour. ”So if you guys are truly believing in Gandhi, than you should not support Indian Army, because they use weapon, they kill enemies. And what Bhagat Singh did, he killed only one enemy Saunders, to defend India, not for his own wish. If Indian Army is defending India, than Bhagat Singh was also defending India. If you think according to Gandhi that Bhagat Singh was wrong than you are believing that Indian Army is also wrong. I know that his method was not gonna give us Independence, but it was not wrong. And neither was Gandhi’s method gave us Independence. It was Indians from British army who refused and mutiny occurred in naval and many other parts of the British Indian army. As, Britishers had only one weapon, Army, which was not not in their command. And also, after WW2 most of the colonized nations were freed. So, if you gave credit to only Gandhi, than my friend, you are wrong.And as Bhagat Singh clarified, it was his early career. We should not blame him or tell him wrong. Do you believe Gandhi was 100% right at each and every stage? Than please check also his early life, he also made mistakes.I am not exaggerating things or biasing Bhagat Singh, for me both are right. Non-violence is good method, Bhagat Singh also accepted it after his early career, than who else could fast for 116 days and also bearing never imagined brutality of British Police in jail?I am really disappointed that people do not study the whole things and just comment some shits about the Legends.For me both are good. I cannot tell he is better and he is not.

They were one of the people who fought for India's freedom in which we are freely living today. mahatma gandi was the main person who fought for our freedom so we call him father of our nation.we also call him lovingly "BABUJI" .infact they both were the best people .but we indians most of them love babu ji or gandhiji ...!! but bhagath singh also fought for our freedom and he too was also one of the best one too..!!
