So, the normal speed of the train during last 120 km
(600 ? 480) = (600 × 0.25)/6 = 25 km/hr
? Time taken by the train to cover last 120 km with normal speed = 120/25 = 4.8 hours
Since speed of the train got decreased by 20% due to some technical problem
? Decreased speed = 25 × 0.8 = 20 km/hr
? Time taken by the train to cover last 120 km = 120/20 = 6 hours
? Time by which the train will be late = 6 ? 4.8 = 1.2 hours = 72 minutes
