Let the distance between the centres of the two circles be 'd'.

Formula: Distance between the centres of two circles = (Sum of their radii)

Therefore, d = (6.3 + 3.6) cm = 9.9 cm

But the circles touch each other internally.

Formula: Distance between the centres of two circles when they touch each other internally = (Difference of their radii)

Therefore, d = (6.3 - 3.6) cm = 2.7 cm

Hence, the distance between their centres is 2.7 cm.

Therefore, the correct option is (b) 2.7 cm.
