Please tell me what is the difference between real account,nominal acc...
1) personal account: This account represent a person or group of persons with whom business deals. These accounts are classified as follows
a) Natural person account:
accounts related to individuals human being
ex: Dipak's A/c, Gayatri's a/c....etc
b) Artificial person account:
accounts related to organization, association which are created by law.
ex: Bank of Maharashtra a/c,ABC&coa/c....etc
c) Representative personal account:
These accounts represent a certain person or group of persons in business dealings.accounts related to outstanding and prepaid items.
ex: outstanding rent a/c, prepaid wages a/c etc..
2) Impersonal Accounts:
Impersonal Accounts are classified as follows;
1} Real account:
Accounts related to assets and properties.
They are classified as
a) Tangible Real Accounts:
It means assets and properties, which can be seen, touched and felt
ex: Machinery a/c, Car a/c....etc
b) Intangible Real account:
It means assets and properties, which cannot be touched, seen, or felt but measured in terms of money.
ex: Goodwill a/ c, Patent a/ c... etc
2} Nominal account:
The account of expenses, loses, income, gain.
ex: wages a/ c , stationary a/ c, salary a/ c, ....etc.

All revenue and expense are nominal a/c the major difference between 2 a/c is that the balance of nominal a/c zero out at the end of each these period and do not accure like the balance of real a/c....
