The CA Intermediate exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and is a stepping stone towards becoming a Chartered Accountant. The exam consists of two groups, with each group containing four papers. The marking scheme for the CA Intermediate exam is as follows:
Group-wise Marking Scheme:
Group I:
- Each paper in Group I carries a maximum of 100 marks.
- The duration of each paper is 3 hours.
Group II:
- Each paper in Group II carries a maximum of 100 marks.
- The duration of each paper is 3 hours.

- The paper is divided into two sections: Section A and Section B.
- Section A consists of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each.
- Section B consists of 16 subjective questions, out of which candidates need to attempt 9 questions.

Paper 2: Corporate and Other Laws
- The paper is divided into two sections: Section A and Section B.
- Section A consists of 30 MCQs of 1 mark each.
- Section B consists of 6 subjective questions, out of which candidates need to attempt 4 questions.

Paper 3: Cost and Management Accounting
