- Independence Day in 1999 fell on Sunday.
- So, 15th August 1999 was a Sunday.
Birth of Suresh:
- Suresh was born on 4th October 1999.
- Counting back 6 days, Shashikanth was born on 28th September 1999.
Day of Birth:
- To find the day of the week, we can use the concept of the day number.
- 15th August is the 228th day of the year (leap year).
- 4th October is the 278th day of the year.
- 28th September is 278 - 6 = 272nd day of the year.
- Since 272 is divisible by 7, the day of the week remains the same.
- Hence, Shashikanth was born on Wednesday.
Therefore, Shashikanth was born on Wednesday.
