A person during a bike ride covers 45 mins at speed of45kmph, another ...
As per given data-
A person travels 45kmph at speed of 45kmph.
So, he travels 34 hrs at a speed of 45kmph
∴ Distance covered by person = speed of bike × time traveled
⇒ Distance covered by person =45×34
⇒ Distance covered by person =
Next he travels 45kmph at 60kmph
So, he travels 3/4 hrs at a speed of 60kmphℎ.
∴ Distance covered by man = speed of bike × time traveled
⇒ Distance covered by man =60×34
⇒ Distance covered by person =45km.….. (2)
\& then he travels 30 mins at 90kmph
So, he travels 0.5hrs at a speed of 90kmph.
∴ Distance covered by person = speed of bike × time traveled
⇒ Distance covered by person =90×0.5
⇒ Distance covered by person =45km….. (3)
From above we can see the total distance traveled by person is
& total time taken to travel =0.75+0.75+0.5=2hrs.
∴ Average speed of person = Total distance travelled/Time taken
Average speed of person =123.752
∴ Average speed of person =61.875kmph
∴ Person ride bike at average speed of 61.875kmph.
A person travels 45kmph at speed of 45kmph.
So, he travels 34 hrs at a speed of 45kmph
∴ Distance covered by person = speed of bike × time traveled
⇒ Distance covered by person =45×34
⇒ Distance covered by person =
Next he travels 45kmph at 60kmph
So, he travels 3/4 hrs at a speed of 60kmphℎ.
∴ Distance covered by man = speed of bike × time traveled
⇒ Distance covered by man =60×34
⇒ Distance covered by person =45km.….. (2)
\& then he travels 30 mins at 90kmph
So, he travels 0.5hrs at a speed of 90kmph.
∴ Distance covered by person = speed of bike × time traveled
⇒ Distance covered by person =90×0.5
⇒ Distance covered by person =45km….. (3)
From above we can see the total distance traveled by person is
& total time taken to travel =0.75+0.75+0.5=2hrs.
∴ Average speed of person = Total distance travelled/Time taken
Average speed of person =123.752
∴ Average speed of person =61.875kmph
∴ Person ride bike at average speed of 61.875kmph.
