Verified Answer
Suppose the price of movies seen at a theatre rises from Rs. 120 per p...
Arc elasticity may be expressed as: [(Q2 - Q1)/(P2 - P1)] x  P/Q

Therefore,

[(200 - 300)/(200 + 120)] x 120/300

= -100/80) x 120/300

So, Arc elasticity = 1/8 x 12/3 = 0.5

(differences were large hence arc elasticity is used.)
