Verified Answer
Can you explain the answer of this question below:A and B starts movin...

Clearly Y moves 60 m from Q upto A, then 20 m upto B, 40 m upto C and then upto D.
So, AD – BC = 40 m.
QD = (60 + 40) m = 100 m.
Since A and B travel with the name speed, A will travel the same speed along the horizontal as B travels in the same time. i.e. (60 + 20 + 40 + 20) = 140 m.
So. X travels 140m upto A.
Distance between X and Y = AD – (100 – 60) m = 40 m.

Distance between initial and final positions of B=100m
Distance between initial and final positions of A=140m (because A didn't change it's path)
Initial distance between a and b is 200m .

Can you explain the answer of this question below:A and B starts movin...
Explanation:

Initial Position:
- A and B start moving towards each other from two places 200 m apart.

Position after B's movements:
- After walking 60 m, B turns left and goes 20 m.
- B then turns right and goes 40 m.
- B then turns right again and comes back to the road on which he had started walking.

Calculating B's final position:
- B has walked a total of 60 m + 20 m + 40 m = 120 m.
- As B comes back to the starting road, he is now 120 m away from the starting point.

Calculating the distance between A and B:
- As A and B started 200 m apart and B is now 120 m away from the starting point, the distance between A and B is 200 m - 120 m = 80 m.

Final Answer:
- The distance between A and B now is 80 m.
Therefore, the correct answer is option C) 40 m.
