Average of 10 numbers calculated = 261
As, 43 was mistakenly taken as 34,
deviation = 43-34 = 9
Also, 12 was counted twice, therefore, 12 needs to subtracted as well.

Total deviation = 9 +(- 12) = -3
Correct mean = incorrect mean + total deviation
             = 261 - 0.3
             = 260.7
