Ravi is driving at a speed of 40 km/h on a road. Vijay is 54 meters be...
Approach:
To find the speed at which Vijay should drive so that all three cross each other at the same time, we need to calculate the time taken by each person to cross each other.

Calculations:
1. Ravi's speed = 40 km/h
2. Ashok's speed = 50 km/h
Let the speed at which Vijay should drive be x km/h.

Time taken by Ravi to cross Ashok:
Distance between Ravi and Ashok = 225 meters
Relative speed = 40 + 50 = 90 km/h = 25 m/s
Time taken = Distance / Relative speed
Time taken = 225 / 25 = 9 seconds

Time taken by Ravi to cross Vijay:
Distance between Ravi and Vijay = 54 meters
Relative speed = 40 + x km/h = (40 + x) * 5/18 m/s
Time taken = Distance / Relative speed
Time taken = 54 / ((40 + x) * 5/18) = 3.6 / (40 + x) seconds

Time taken by Vijay to cross Ashok:
Distance between Vijay and Ashok = 225 + 54 = 279 meters
Relative speed = x + 50 km/h = (x + 50) * 5/18 m/s
Time taken = Distance / Relative speed
Time taken = 279 / ((x + 50) * 5/18) = 15.4 / (x + 50) seconds
Since all three cross each other at the same time:
9 = 3.6 / (40 + x) = 15.4 / (x + 50)
Solving the above equation, we get x = 61.6 km/h
Therefore, Vijay should drive at a speed of 61.6 km/h.
