A purchased a computer costing Rs.10,000. Repairing expenses Rs.1,000 ...
Calculation of Cost Price
- Purchase cost = Rs. 10,000
- Repairing expenses = Rs. 1,000
- Miscellaneous expenses = Rs. 500
- Total cost price = Rs. 11,500

Calculation of Selling Price
- Margin on selling price = 20%
- Let the selling price be 'x'
- Cost price + 20% margin on selling price = Selling price
- 11,500 + (20/100)*x = x
- 0.2x = 2,300
- x = Rs. 12,500

Therefore, the sales value will be Rs. 12,500.
