Solution:
1. Calculate the length of the cut:
Length of cut = Plate length - 2 x Clearance at each end

2. Calculate the number of strokes required to complete one cut:
Number of strokes = Length of cut / Feed
Number of strokes = 730 / 3
Number of strokes = 243.33
Round off to the nearest whole number: 243 strokes

3. Calculate the total time taken for one cut:
Total time taken = (Cutting time + Return time) x Number of strokes
Return time = Cutting time x 5
Total time taken = (Cutting time + Cutting time x 5) x 243

Cutting time = Total time taken / 1458
