There are many challenges poor people face when confronted with medical emergency.

Like, not only medical 'emergency' but for basic issues too, but since we are talking about the medical emergency let's first see about it so the challenge people face are first off the location of the Government Hospital.
So that most of the poor people's sociaty is mostly living in slum area so they might need a ambulance which the Government Hospital should send it, but in Government hospital, there may be many excuses they might give (ex:the traffic is alot or like your in a compact area so our ambulance cannot come through the area etc). Keep in mind that second challange is not about money, since most of them(poor people) Use Government Hospitals, not much is charged but if whereas it is a Private Hospitals the problem they will face might be the money problems. Thrid thing mostly that happens in government's hospital is that the of queues. The queues can stretch up alot, making it more difficuly to move in and the rush because of compact building makes it even worse. ICU are filled up and the rooms are available but next thing poor people face is the quality of service. Most Government Hospitals don't give much quality service as compared to a Private Hospital, so the poor ones hardly enough have to face this services. The doctors might be not giving much care to the patient or some basic things might not be there available at the moments of emergency tho it is a Government hospital.
