On The5th january,the sky was again covered by dark clouds.The Voyagers were losing so much hope that the captain's son (jonathan) had asked his father whther they would die and even assured his father that he wasn't afraid of dying.The fact of son giving such remarks made the captain to put his full effort in bringing their hopes back.That evening, Mary and the captain were sitting and holding their hands with both of them feeling that their end was near. This shows that overall, all the voyagers had lost their hopes.
