I hope that you know that why the answer is not A , B or D( if u Don't understand why ? , ask me in reply ). explaining why the answer is C . the spring force is not necessarily always a pushing force . the nature of spring force depends upon the state of spring ( whether compressed or expanded ) . if it is expanded/stretched then it will act as pulling force. and if it's compressed, then it is pushing force .

Identify the incorrect statement.a)The weight of a body always acts to...
The incorrect statement is option C: "The spring force always pushes a body."

Explanation:
The statement in option C is incorrect because the spring force can either push or pull a body depending on the situation. The direction of the spring force depends on whether the spring is compressed or stretched.

When a spring is compressed, it exerts a force in the opposite direction of compression, pushing the body away from the spring. For example, if you compress a spring between your hands, the spring will try to push your hands apart.

On the other hand, when a spring is stretched, it exerts a force in the direction of the stretch, pulling the body towards the spring. For example, if you stretch a rubber band, it will try to pull your fingers towards each other.

So, the spring force can be either pushing or pulling depending on the situation. It is not always pushing, as stated in option C.

To summarize, the incorrect statement is option C because the spring force can either push or pull a body depending on whether the spring is compressed or stretched.
