It is usually your mother who does the cleaning of house. Your family ...
Dear diary,
Today, we all decided to give mom a break since she always works so hard for us. This was the least that we could do for her. Father, Ankush and me decided to distribute the work among ourselves. I was given the task of cleaning my room as well as the dining room. At first I thought that doing this job was a piece of cake for me. But soon I realised that dusting the walls is even harder than solving the most difficult problems in maths. It seemed as if every single object present in the room was determined to prevent me from completing the chores. It all started when I took the plate to wash it and I broke it. This was not the end. In addition to the plate, I broke one flower pot and a picture that was hung on the wall. I wasn't scholded for my deeds though. I never thought in a million years that cleaning my room would consume my whole day. It was 8 in the morning when I began the struggle to clean the two rooms. When I finished, it was already half past 8. I was exhausted after doing these chores. But this exhaustion made me realize something. Something very important. I realized that mother always do these things for 365 days in a year without taking any holidays. From now onwards I am going to help mom by doing some little chores.

Diary Entry: Cleaning the House
Dear Diary,
Today was a different day for me as I was given the responsibility of cleaning the house. It was a task that I had never done before, but I wanted to give my mother a break as she does this every day. I started by making a plan of action and dividing the work into small tasks.
Planning and Preparation
- Made a list of all the rooms that needed cleaning
- Gathered all the necessary cleaning supplies such as a broom, mop, cleaning solution, and a vacuum cleaner
- Put on some comfortable clothes that I didn't mind getting dirty
Cleaning the House
- Started by dusting and cleaning the living room, which included wiping down the furniture, vacuuming the carpet, and mopping the floor
- Moved on to the kitchen and cleaned the countertops, sink, and stove. I also wiped down the cabinets and refrigerator
- Next, I cleaned the bathrooms, which included scrubbing the bathtub, sink, and toilet. I also mopped the floors
- Finally, I cleaned my own room by making the bed, dusting the furniture, and vacuuming the floor
Reflection
Overall, the experience of cleaning the house was quite challenging, but I enjoyed it. It gave me a sense of accomplishment to see the house clean and tidy. I also realized how much effort my mother puts into cleaning the house every day, and it made me appreciate her even more.
Until next time,
