A body of mass m falling under the influence of gravity has a force given as

f=GMm/R^2

Here, M is the mass of Earth and R is the radius of Earth.

Also this force is the weight of the body which is given as

f=mxg

Thus, we get

mxg=GMm/R^2

g=GM/R^2


Thus, g is independent of mass of the falling body

G is directly proportional to mass and proportionality constant (G) and inversely proportional to the square of distance between Centre of mass of the objects...keeping the mass constant we see the g depends upon the distance only...means height above earths surface or below it
