There is nothing as the best book. Any book can be the best if it makes you understand the concept in an easy way. You can also go for the classic NCERT textbooks and exemplar problems or books from Arihant publications.

I will refer you Dr R. S Aggarwal for Quantitative Aptitude preparation.

For All other exams I will strongly recommend R.D Sharma.
