This is because the particles of true solution are very small that they cannot scatter the beam of light ..... Only the colloidal solution can scatter the beam of light and can show the tyndall's effect .....

Particle size of true solution is very less due to which it don't scatter the light therefore path of beam of light is not visible through a true solution.
