Einstein’s work on relativity did not disprove Newton’s Universal law of Gravitation. He made it better. Before Einstein, space and time were considered independent of each other. It means that whatever you did , never affected how you measure time. Newton considered time to be absolute. That’s what Einstein changed. He told us that even time is relative. Then came General relativity. It helped us to better understand Gravity and provide explanation for instances we cannot understand with Newton’s law for example ,the orbit of Mercury. Einstein’s work was an improvement to Newton’s.
For example, in an exam, you got 50 out of 100. The passing marks were 40. You decided to give it another try, to improve your score. This time you got 80. In second case you improved you score but did you fail in first? Newton’s and Einstein’s work is exactly like this.
