Hawker
   
A hawker sells his goods on a stall.
A hawker does not have a permanent place to sell his goods. He can sell them at a weekly market or on a roadside stall. 
A hawker sells his goods at a price lower than that of a shopkeeper as his maintenance expenses are low.
A hawker is never a big businessman.
A hawker cannot sell big and heavy items like automobiles and electronic items etc.
A hawker does not hire other worker to help him in his business.  
Hawkers cannot run their business on credit terms.

Shopkeeper
A shopkeeper sells his goods in a shop.
A shopkeeper has a permanent place to sell his goods.
A shopkeeper sells his goods at a price higher than that of a hawker as his maintenance expenses are high.
A shopkeeper may or may not be a big businessman.
All these items are sold in shop  only.
A shopkeeper has to hire other worker or workers to help him in his business.  
Shopkeepers can run their business on credit terms.
