Specific gravity of oil, S = 0.8
Acceleration due to gravity on the planet, g = 5 m/s²
Weight of oil displaced, W2 = 100 N

To find: Volume of oil displaced by the stone

Formula used:
Weight of the stone = Weight of the displaced fluid
W1 = W2
Density of the fluid × Volume of the fluid × g = Weight of the fluid

Calculation:
Density of the fluid = Specific gravity of the fluid × Density of water
Density of water = 1000 kg/m³

Density of the fluid = 0.8 × 1000 kg/m³ = 800 kg/m³

Volume of the fluid = W2 / (Density of the fluid × g)
Volume of the fluid = 100 N / (800 kg/m³ × 5 m/s²)
Volume of the fluid = 0.025 m³ = 25 litres

Therefore, the correct option is (a) 25 Litres.
