Which statement is/are correct?a)% of p-character in the orbitals form...
A) In P4 P is sp3 hybridised so %p character is 75%
b) if we assume bridge bond in B2H6 above and below the plane so we have 2B and 4 terminal H in one plane so we have 6 atoms in a plane
c) Be componds are toxic that cause berrylium poisoning ( it's a fact )

Which statement is/are correct?a)% of p-character in the orbitals form...
Statement A: % of p-character in the orbitals forming P-P bonds in P4 is 75%.
This statement is correct. In P4 molecule, each phosphorus atom is sp3 hybridized, resulting in four sp3 hybrid orbitals. Three of these orbitals form sigma bonds with three other phosphorus atoms, while the remaining sp3 hybrid orbital contains a lone pair. The remaining p orbital on each phosphorus atom overlaps sideways with the p orbital of the neighboring phosphorus atom, forming a pi bond. Since the p orbital is 50% p-character, the pi bond formed by overlapping of two p orbitals contains 50% p-character. Therefore, the percentage of p-character in the orbitals forming P-P bonds in P4 is 50%.

Statement B: The maximum number of atoms in B2H6 are 6 which are in the same plane.
This statement is incorrect. B2H6, also known as diborane, contains two boron atoms and six hydrogen atoms. The boron atoms are connected by bridging hydrogen atoms. The structure of diborane is three-dimensional with a shape similar to a pair of dice. The two boron atoms are not in the same plane, and the molecule is not planar.

Statement C: Be compounds are toxic.
This statement is correct. Beryllium (Be) compounds are highly toxic. Beryllium is a highly reactive metal and its compounds can cause severe health issues when inhaled or ingested. Beryllium compounds are known to cause chronic beryllium disease (CBD), a lung condition that can be life-threatening.

Statement D: PI3 upon hydrolysis gives a monobasic acid and dibasic acid.
This statement is incorrect. PI3, or phosphorus triiodide, can hydrolyze to form phosphoric acid (H3PO4) and hydrogen iodide (HI). Phosphoric acid is a tribasic acid, meaning it can donate three protons (H+ ions) in a chemical reaction. Therefore, the hydrolysis of PI3 gives a tribasic acid and hydrogen iodide, not a monobasic acid and dibasic acid.
