WHAT IS BIODIVERSITY? :-The biodiversity what we see today is the impact of billions of years of evolution,shaped by natural processes and by the influence of humans.Biodiversity describes how much variety an ecosystem has and its resources ,species.A more diverse ecosystem has more resources,helps from famine,droughts,diseases and also from extinction of species.

THREATS TO BIO DIVERSITY :-Loss of species,ecosystem,extinction of flora and fauna is termed as the loss of biodiversity.The main cause of loss of biodiversity is due to the influence of human beings in ecosystem.

HABITUAL LOSS:-Many lands which is a good habitat and rich in biodiversity are converted into crop plants for humans own needs, this leads to the loss of habituat and also the different varieties of flora and fauna which are habituated to that place.

OVER EXPLOITATION:-Many species are used by humans to fulfill basic needs.Many species are in the state of extinction because they are being used at unsustainable levels.

CLIMATE CHANGE:-Climate change is projected to become more progressively significant threat to biodiversity in the coming decades.Due to the drastic unknown climate change patterns the timing of flowering changes,the migration of certain species and their distribution was not happening at the exact time.these type of changes can alter food chains and creates mismatches with ecosystems.
