Which of the following statement is/are correcta)In CCl4, only dispers...
Dispersion Forces:
- Dispersion forces exist in all molecules and are the weakest intermolecular forces.
- In CCl4, only dispersion forces exist due to the temporary dipoles that form in the molecule.

Dipole Forces:
- Dipole forces occur between polar molecules where there is an unequal distribution of electron density.
- In CHCl3 molecule, both dipole forces and dispersion forces exist since the molecule is polar.

Hydrogen Bonds:
- Hydrogen bonds are a special type of dipole-dipole interaction that occurs between a hydrogen atom bonded to a highly electronegative atom (such as O, N, or F) and a lone pair of electrons on another highly electronegative atom.
- In H2O molecule, both hydrogen bonds and dispersion forces are present due to the presence of hydrogen bonding between water molecules.

Sigma and Pi Bonds in Cyanogen:
- Cyanogen (C2N2) has a linear structure with a triple bond between the two carbon atoms and a triple bond between the carbon and nitrogen atoms.
- Therefore, cyanogen has 3 sigma bonds (2 C-C, 1 C-N) and 4 pi bonds (2 in the C-C triple bond, 2 in the C-N triple bond).
