A solution was made by dissolving 2 g of a solute in 100 g of acetone....
The correct answer is Option B.

∆Tb =(Kb × 1000 × W2) / M2 × W1
⇒ M2 = (Kb × 1000 × W2) / ∆Tb × W1
= (1.71 × 1000 × 2) / 1 × 100
= 34.2g

A solution was made by dissolving 2 g of a solute in 100 g of acetone....
Here difference between temperature of pure solvent and solution ∆T= 56.95- 55.95 =1
∆T =w1×1000×kb/w2×M2
substitute w1= 2g
kb=1.71
w2=100
we get M2=34.2g
