Observation

Today, while walking through the corridors and fields of my school, I noticed some students littering the area with plastic wrappers and empty bottles. This made me feel sad and disappointed about the lack of awareness towards cleanliness and the environment among my fellow schoolmates.

Impact

The littered area not only looks unattractive but also poses a serious threat to the environment and the health of living beings. The plastic waste takes years to decompose and harms the soil, water, and air quality. It can also harm animals who might ingest it mistakenly.

Action Taken

I immediately picked up the litter and disposed of it properly in the nearby dustbin. I also spoke to the students who were littering and explained to them the importance of cleanliness and the harmful effects of littering on the environment. I encouraged them to use dustbins and dispose of waste properly.

Conclusion

I believe that it is our responsibility to keep our surroundings clean and contribute towards a better and healthier environment. I hope that my actions and words today will inspire others to keep their surroundings clean and spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and environmental protection.
