Materials Needed
- Eiffel Tower printout from the internet
- Cardboard (from old parcel boxes)
- Scissors
- X-acto knife
- Glue
- Glitter
- Old newspaper (to catch excess glitter)
Instructions
Step 1: Trace the Eiffel Tower
- Print out a picture of the Eiffel Tower from the internet.
- Place the printout on a piece of cardboard and trace it onto two pieces of cardboard.
Step 2: Cut the Cardboard
- Cut out the traced shapes from the cardboard.
- For the first piece, cut it vertically from the bottom and remove the top part.
- For the second piece, cut off the top part and make a 1-inch vertical slit at the top. This slit will help join the two pieces together later.
Step 3: Add Glue and Glitter
- Apply glue to the cardboard pieces using a brush.
- Sprinkle glitter over the glue. Choose colors for the glitter.
Step 4: Let the Glitter Dry
- Allow the glitter to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Step 5: Assemble the Eiffel Tower
- Take the piece without the top and insert it into the piece with the top at a right angle.
- You can glue them together or use a bent paper clip to hold the sides together. Be careful as some glitter may fall off during this process.
