Passage: Florence Nightingale, known as the founder of modern nursing, was born in 1820 in Italy. She came from a wealthy family but chose nursing, which was not respected then. During the Crimean War, she worked in hospitals where conditions were very poor. She improved hygiene, sanitation, and food, which reduced the number of deaths. Later, she opened a nursing school in London. Her work changed hospitals forever, and she is remembered as “The Lady with the Lamp.”

King Solomon was known for his great wisdom. The Queen of Sheba once visited him to test him. She brought two garlands of roses—one was real and one was artificial. She asked Solomon to identify the real one. Solomon asked his servants to open the windows. Soon, bees flew in and sat on the real garland. The Queen was amazed at his cleverness and praised him.
