5. Can you give an example of a word problem for subtraction of integers?

Ans. Sarah had 10 pencils and she gave away 4 pencils. How many pencils does she have now? To solve this problem, we subtract 4 from 10 to get 6. Therefore, Sarah has 6 pencils now.
