(i) Sports Authority of India (SAI),
The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is India's apex national sports body, founded in 1982 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India to promote sport in the country.
(ii) Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS),
The Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, also known as NIS Patiala, is Asia's largest sports institute. The Maharaja of Patiala built this complex. His descendants later dedicated this structure to the promotion of sports.
NSNIS has long been regarded as the "Mecca" of Indian games. This institute produced a number of exceptionally gifted coaches who demonstrated their efficiency and expertise in preparing teams for international competitions.
(iii) Sports Schools
Any competitive physical activity or game that aims to use, maintain, or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants and, in some cases, entertainment to spectators is considered sport.
(iv) Yoga Institutions
The Yoga Institute is the first authorised Yoga School to conduct government-certified courses, according to the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India. In June 2018, it received the Prime Minister's Award 2018 from the Ministry of AYUSH for outstanding contribution to the field of Yoga.
