As per the reservation criteria, seats will be reserved for GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD candidates. The percentage of seats reserved for different categories is as follows

MCC will hold four rounds of NEET-UG 2023 Counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ), with a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round to be conducted after Round 2 is completed. The procedure involves filling any leftover seats through the mop-up round and the stray vacancy round. Steps to be taken include:

To register for NEET Counselling, individuals must go to mcc.nic.in. They must input their NEET roll number, registration number, name, mother's name and date of birth. Subsequently, they can pay the Counselling fee and security deposit via a credit or debit card.
Applicants can create a dummy college list and enter their desired schools. They can use the NEET college predictor to assess their chances of being accepted based on previous admission data. During the 2023 NEET Counselling process, they will be able to select from the options they have provided.
Once the seat allotment letters become available, it is essential for candidates to log in and download them. In the first round, they have the option of taking a free exit, while in the second round, they have the option of a forfeiture exit.
After being assigned a seat, applicants must go to their designated college to complete the admission procedures. It is not necessary to attend during the initial round, but if someone wants to accept the seat or upgrade it, they must report in the second round unless they are choosing to give up their deposit by opting out. Upon arriving at the college, the individual must show the original copies of the required documents.
The following documents will be required during the NEET Counselling. Candidates must carry original documents along with attested photocopies to the Counselling process:
Free Exit (Only for Round 1): Candidates assigned a seat in the initial round who do not show up to the college they were assigned to will not be penalized and will still be eligible for future rounds. Their security deposit will not be forfeited.
Exit with forfeiture
If a candidate is offered a seat in the second round but does not plan on taking it, they have the option to forfeit their security deposit within the allotted time frame. Those who accept the allotted seat in the second round will not be allowed to give up their seat or participate in state Counselling.
The exact dates for the NEET Counselling 2023 have not yet been released. However, it is expected to begin in the month of June 2023.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCB.

If a candidate is assigned a seat during the first round of NEET 2023 Counselling but does not show up to the assigned institute by the due date, they will not suffer any repercussions. They will still be able to take part in the next Counselling round - known as 'Free Exit'.
