SSC CGL 2025 Eligibility: Nationality

To be eligible for the SSC CGL 2025 Exam, a candidate must be:

• A citizen of India

• A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan

• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India 

• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently in India.

SSC CGL Age Limit 2025

The minimum age limit for SSC CGL is 18 years and the maximum age limit varies for different categories. Generally, the maximum age limit for the exam is 32 years for most categories, with certain relaxations available for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PwD and others as per government norms.

• In the case of the OA, OL, and OAL categories, the "Cycling" test shall not be required.
