Tier 1: SSC CGL Syllabus for English Language Section

The English Comprehension section of SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will only be in the English language. It consists of 25 questions worth a total of 50 marks, and assesses a candidate's understanding of the subject, as well as their basic comprehension and writing abilities.

SSC CGL 2023 Tier 2 Exam Pattern

After the preliminary exam has been conducted, it will be necessary to gear up for the Tier-2 Exam of the SSC CGL 2023 Exam. The Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple-choice exam, except for Module II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section III of Paper-I.

  • Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions - Session I & Session II, on the same day and is compulsory for all candidates who qualify in Paper 1.
