The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) Tier 1 exam is not just a test, but a gateway to a bright future for many young aspirants. SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus 2023

As per the New Scheme of Examination, the SSC CGL 2023 exam will be conducted in four tiers. The SSC CGL Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams will be conducted in online mode, whereas the Tier 3 and Tier 4 exams will be conducted in offline mode. The Tier 1 exam is an online-based exam that comprises four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English , with a total number of 100 questions. Each correct answer is awarded 2 marks, and there is a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes. SSC Tier 1 CGL Reasoning Syllabus

The SSC CGL General Intelligence and Reasoning Syllabus includes both verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning and consists of 25 questions, totaling 50 marks.The Tier 1 SSC CGL syllabus for reasoning is provided below in the table, with 1-3 questions expected from each topic. Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates’ General Awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.
