• Step 1: Avoid reading the options initially. Instead, contemplate and grasp the theme and tone of the sentence. Understand the sentence's context and attempt to fill the missing word without looking at the options.
• Step 2: Eliminate options that convey a meaning opposite to the word you envision inserting in the blank. This action may eliminate approximately 50% of the options.
• Step 3: Pay close attention to grammar clues. These can significantly aid in determining the answers.
