you Blackburn's mating maneuver as
demonstrated by fellow English master H

Knight f3 if you're gonna open up this
diagonal to your king from h4 to e1 you
need that night stopping that check on
h4 black goes east six a move that a
modern master probably wouldn't make
blocking in the Bishop b3 to make space
for the Queen side fianchetto Knight to
f6 Bishop b2 Knight to c6 a3 is a little
prophylactic move stopping the nice
entry to be for Bishop e7 Bishop d3 this
is one of the unusual circumstances
where Bishop to d3 is actually a good
move provided that the other Bishop has
already developed black castles white
castles now in the time that black uses
to start to develop their Queens Bishop
white starts an attack black develops
the Bishop Queen to h4 threatening h7
for the second time which is only
protected by the knight on f6 which is
already under attack by the fianchettoed
Bishop so black weakens their pawn
structure with g6 we bring in the knight
increasing the pressure on h7 it moves
the H pawn further weakening his pawn
structure white goes g4 to crack open
the position and black makes this
mistake Knight takes g4 allowing for
Blackburn's mating maneuver
Queen takes pawn and Baron - Queen has
to be taken because the knight is
supporting checkmate on h7 and the
encode Bishop supporting checkmate on h8
so after pawn takes Queen
we have Bishop h7 supported by the g5
Knight
checkmate there's Blackburn's mating
maneuver sacrificing the Queen to create
mate with three minor pieces
