Ans: Cow and buffalo were put on lists of animals with hair on their body and whose ears can be seen. From a distance, their hair cannot be seen. After going near one of them, the hair on the skin can be seen.

Q4. If you were to meet an elephant, would you dare to touch it? Do you know that an elephant also has hair on its skin?
Ans: I would not dare to touch an elephant if I were to meet one. Yes, I know that an elephant also has hair on its skin.

(ii)The Tiger is a wild animal and it lives in the forests mainly near bushes, tall grasses, and ponds.
(iii)The number of these animals in India is going down, and there are a few reasons for it:

1. Hunting: People are hunting them illegally for their bones and skin. This is not allowed, but some still do it, and it's harming the animals.
2. Deforestation: The places where these animals live are vanishing because of deforestation. This means that the forests where they find food and live comfortably are being cut down, and this makes it hard for them to survive.
